I had previously worked with Pier Auge and used the products myself, so when I had the opportunity to open my own clinic there was no question as to which product I would stock.

My name is Kylie Ellis and I am the Company Director for Body Synergy Ltd, a Beauty Therapy clinic in Dunedin. We have been with Beauty Sense since approximately September 2002 when we originally began using and supplying their Pier Auge products and we then included Yon Ka products when Beauty Sense took over the distribution.

When we first began with Beauty Sense I had two beauty therapists, two massage therapists and two receptionists. Over the last five years we have grown into the largest clinic in Dunedin with six Beauty Therapists, one massage therapist and an administration team consisting of a clinic manager, two reception staff and what I believe makes us successful - a Business Development Manager.

Since the beginning I have always felt valued and the service from the company as a whole has always been very efficient and professional. In the Beauty Therapy industry you often feel very isolated but in having Beauty Sense as our main supplier we have received consistent and regular training and contact from the account managers which I have found to be the most valuable part of my staff education and training.

In business it is always important to surround yourself with people who know more than you do and who are willing to educate and support you in those areas. Denis and the team at Beauty Sense have always been very proactive in the ways that they can help their clients build their business. Beauty Sense continually offers seminars with business coaches, on-going product and treatment training product and staff incentives plus they always employ exceptional account managers that have the ability to inspire and educate the staff. It is essential to have suppliers who continually deliver marketing initiatives and I believe it is my responsibility to support everything they deliver or provide constructive feedback as to what is working or what isn't quite right.

Anyone who is considering a new product range needs to look at the business as a whole and not just consider the effectiveness of a product. The relationship with you and your suppliers has to be open, continually growing and a win-win for both parties. Beauty Sense is delivering in all these areas for us as well as offering sensational product ranges that my client's love and my therapists truly enjoy working with.

I have had Pier Auge in my salon over the past 10 years and over that time have found my income has increased.

My therapists and I have also find that we are getting great results from clients that have used more expensive products as they find that Pier Auge is a whole lot better for their skin and also a lot more calming.
